Electromagnetic signalling from DNA: a new biomarker of chronic infections

We have still to learn about the astonishing properties of our “magic” molecule, support of the genetic information of all living organisms on Earth, double-helical DNA.

I will present a new property: the capacity of some DNA sequences to vibrate and induce in water self-maintaining polymeric structures. We have used an appropriate technology to detect the electromagnetic signals produced by the aqueous nanostructures derived from DNA sequences of pathogenic bacteria and viruses. These nanostructures are also present in the blood of patients suffering of chronic diseases not yet recognized to be of infectious origin. The particular case of HIV infection will be also discussed.
